Team Billing

You can allow your team members to charge Sessions to a shared credit card by setting up team billing for your team.

Note: While all users of a team can use team billing to pay for their sessions, only the team owner may set up and manage team billing.

How it works

You can add up to 2 cards for use with team billing; a primary and secondary.

During payment for a session a team member will be presented with the option to use team billing. If they choose to do so, we will attempt to use the primary team card for the associated fees. If payment against the primary card fails, the secondary card will be tried, if present. If all team payment options fail the team billing option will be temporarily unavailable to the user, though they may still use a different payment method to proceed.

Fees will be assessed as outlined in our fee structure.

Note: If a Session using team billing is cancelled or expires, credits will be issued to the user participating in the Session, not the team.

Set up Team Billing

First time setup of team billing. If you already have team billing enabled see the following sections.

Note: The first card you add will automatically be designated as the primary team payment method. If you plan on adding multiple cards, another payment method can be designated primary after it has been added.

Open the Enable Team Billing Dialog

On the Team Dashboard click on the Enable button under Team Billing.

Enter Card Details

You should be presented with a dialog prompting you to provide a credit card for use with Team Billing.

Submit

Once you have provided valid card information you may click on the Add button to finish adding your card.

If your card is successfully added you should see it under Team Billing.

Add a Secondary Card

Reminder: You can only have 2 cards configured for use with Team Billing.

Similar to the process in set up team billing. From the Team Dashboard click on the Add Payment Method button and follow the process above.

Remove or Update an Existing Card

Once you have added one or more cards to your team’s account you can use the menu for each individual payment method to remove or modify it. This includes switching the primary and secondary cards.

Note: If you remove the primary payment method, if a secondary payment method is available it will automatically be promoted to primary.

Disable Team Billing

To disable team billing either:

  • Individually remove all payment methods associated with your team
  • Click on the Disable button on the Team Billing card.
