Fee Structure

How your session is billed

After you hit the button for hosting or joining a session, you will be directed to the Payment page. You can choose to put in a new credit card, use a card which you previously saved in the system, or elect Team Billing.

On-Demand Sessions

An “on-demand” session is a session scheduled to begin within the next 6 hours.

Once you enter your credit card information, a hold will be put on your card for $1,099. If your session is unsuccessful, you will only be charged $99 and the reminder will be released. If your session is successful, and settles for over $15,000, then the entire $1099 will be charged to your card.

Scheduled Sessions

If your session takes places more than six hours from when you are making your payment, it is considered a “scheduled” session.

In this case your card will immediately be billed for the $99 session fee, and your card will be temporarily saved (regardless of whether your choose to save the card to your account for future use), and a hold for the $1000 success fee will be placed on your card approximately 6 hours before your session is scheduled to start.

If your session is unsuccessful, the $1000 hold for the success fee will be released. If your session is successful, and settles for over $15,000, then the $1000 success fee will be charged to your card.

Credits

If your session is either preemptively cancelled by the owner, or expires due to one or both participants failing to join within the 30-minute window after the scheduled start, a credit will be issued for any payments you may have made and any holds for the session will be released.

Note that credits will not be issued if:

  • Both users participate in the session and do not reach a settlement
  • The session is terminated by a participant after the timer has already started.

Credits are automatically applied when you create or join a session.
